The J-Bodies of Iowa are a group of J-Body enthusiasts based out of Des Moines, Iowa. The car club started as an idea on a message board in March 2003, and has progressed steadily since that time.
Initially there were ten members, and now through the creation of jboi.org, tagging other J-Bodies with flyers, and word of mouth, the club has grown to 221 members.
Meets are usually held about once a month, and sometimes more often in the warmer months. For a typical meet, all the cars come together in Des Moines, where members help work on cars, check out others' rides, and speculate about future plans. Most of all, everybody enjoys themselves and has a good time.
The J-Bodies of Iowa is a car club built on trust, respect, and a good sense of humor. No one is criticized about their car, or the choices they make regarding it. Everyone is there to help each other.
By joining the JBOI, you enter a great community of insightful car enthusiasts, and your membership will only make us better.
